Give a Little…Get a Lot! is a 30-day Christian devotional and journal for men designed to increase our awareness of how our spiritual maturity is reflected in how we give. Our giving was never focused only on our money—even though that’s often our take-away. Giving includes the wealth of our substance, sacrifice, faithfulness, and our ability to offer back to God everything He has entrusted to us.

Scripture repeatedly shows that God’s spiritual principles never cease, but continue to operate…even in difficult circumstances. Giving reveals something about our heart for the things of God and creates opportunities for us, the people of God, to come together to serve others and strengthen the community and the household of faith. In the end, God receives the glory.

Get a Lot of Favor!

The workings of God are found in our obedience to God and His Word! That involves both implementing the strategies of God; as well as understanding that in everything that we do, we must count the costs! The blessing is that if we are faithful, God will redeem the time, to establish His Glorious Church!

Get the Spirit of the Acts Church

Perhaps one of the greatest lessons of the Christ-Centered Church was that as demonstrated by the Acts Church. In a study of the early church, we see a resilient spirit that is founded on people giving both “all they had,” and “giving of themselves!” In that, we learn that the church family is God’s instrument for moving in His Kingdom and in the lives of believers!

Give a Little Sacrifice

Just as we learned to “count the costs,” we also learn that life as a citizen of the Kingdom of God often means that we must be willing to sacrifice a lifestyle to accomplish God’s greater plan. What does that mean? It means that nothing is free in life— but the rewards of being free in Christ… are eternal!

Give a Little Faith

Learning to sow in the Kingdom of God is a journey. Those who undertake the journey soon realize that a measure of faith goes a long way. We learn that having faith (that God will move) is not enough; we must also be faithful (so that we will move), operating as God leads.

Get a Kingdom Reward

God honors His Word by blessing those who operate according to His divine plan for our lives. As we take each step in faith—He pours out a measure of favor as a reward. And though we may think that it is a walk of foolish chance—the truth is that God has a plan, and so should we!
