Elder Peggy Moore Heath is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of an Air Force Career Veteran, Arvelle and Harriet Moore. Peggy has been married to Rev. Craig A. Heath for 43 years, and they have 3 daughters, Ashleigh, Simone, and Alivia.
Peggy graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Peggy accepted her call to ministry in 1998 and began working alongside her minister husband, raising a family and counselling young women along the way.
Years ago, Peggy developed a longing to understand prayer, perhaps unlike any she had ever felt. Peggy read books, took classes, and was determined to satisfy that need. Soon, she began to participate in the weekly prayer hour with her First Lady, an intense prayer warrior. After several years, Peggy began to gain clarity on why the Lord had placed such a burden in her heart for prayer.
Today, Peggy intercedes as God directs her and holds up the arms of Craig Heath and BounceBack Ministries for Men and Women. She has completed her first prayer CD, The Secret Place: Shifting the Atmosphere, which includes prayer affirmations, and has penned strategies to improve healthcare and overall wellness for God’s people.
Peggy has written 2 workbooks for women and young women. After counselling many couples at this stage of our ministry, we have identified a pressing need for men and women to communicate more effectively. We have found that many women feel they are not heard, seen, or understood in their relationships. Therefore, we have developed 2 workbooks to equip women to express what they are experiencing more effectively, without the shame, anger, bitterness, and frustration that too often accompany these conversations.
- Blossom: Becoming A Woman That God Can Use
- A Young Woman’s Guide to Hospitality (ages 10 to 21)
Today, Peggy is an Elder at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, Georgia, serving as a mentor to single mothers, young women, and ministers, and interceding for the Church’s overall needs.
