Marriage is more than preparing for a wedding. Premarital Mentoring helps couples prepare intentionally for the marriage they are about to build together.

BounceBack Ministries provides a structured mentoring experience designed to help engaged couples explore the biblical foundations, expectations, responsibilities, and practical realities of married life before saying, “I do.”

How Premarital Mentoring Works

Our Premarital Mentoring is conducted in a private setting that gives couples an opportunity to discuss their relationship openly and honestly.

The mentoring experience uses Marriage Foundations, a 12-lesson resource developed by BounceBack Ministries to help couples establish a strong biblical foundation for marriage.

Before beginning, we collect information about your relationship and the areas you believe are most important to address. This helps us understand your needs and provides a starting point for our work together.

What We Explore Together

Prayer and Spiritual Foundation
Understanding the role of prayer and establishing God as the foundation of the marriage.

Understanding One Another
Learning more about one another’s expectations, perspectives, strengths, differences, and responsibilities within marriage.

Seeking the Kingdom of God
Learning to seek God first and developing a shared biblical perspective for married life.

Learning to Find Agreement
Understanding the role, power, process, and stages of agreement within marriage.

Accountability to God and One Another
Recognizing our accountability to God and developing a marriage in which husband and wife are accountable to one another.

Marriage Foundations

Throughout the mentoring process, Marriage Foundations provides the framework for our discussions and exercises. The resource helps couples move beyond simply talking about marriage to intentionally examining the principles and practices that will shape their life together.

Upon successful completion of the program, couples receive a certificate of completion, which may satisfy premarital preparation requirements for some ministers or churches.
