As a former Christian Education Director, I understand how important it is to identify Tools for the ministry that are fundamentally sound and connect with the hearts of the people that are being taught. Too often, we settle for the best of what we can find–hoping that our instructors will bring the relevance and the “right-now” understanding that our students need.
For men, that is an even more difficult challenge because men are constantly weighing whether it is better to be in a Men’s meeting–or anywhere else!
We believe that with our BounceBack Ministry Tools and related workshops that we have taken a step in the right direction. In fact, when we conducted our first Mentoring Workshop–we were as surprised as the Pastor–when non of the men excused themselves for a break in what turned out to be a 3 and 1/2 hour meeting.
We are certainly not assuming to have things all figured out–but we will keep writing for the audiences that the Lord gives us–as long as He gives us that direction, praying that the fruit that is produced will bless you, your ministry and the households that that represents!
