Our journey to creating our first marriage workbook was based on a sudden burden to create this document. For decades. we have found ourselves in the midst of providing help to those in marriage crisis.
While we never expected to write a book, we realized that if we could place a tool in the hands of people who needed it most–then perhaps, there would be greater hope–even when we could not be there for them.
First, we created the 8-Week Marriage Makeover Challenge – “Love Never Fails,” in two weeks time. We used many of the worksheets that we had developed for our couples as a discussion tool. Even then we knew there was in inherent rationale in allowing couples to leave, with something in their hands.
Second, we created the Marriage Foundations after we realized Pastors and couples were stretching the use of our first workbook–as a tool to prepare them for Marriage. We immediately knew that we needed to do something better–and that was the Marriage Foundations Workbook.
We have found ourselves using both with couples as we prepare them, or help them–or allow them to help themselves. We are encouraged so far–and we pray that in choosing them, you will be encouraged as well!
